Strad-o-Lin
Strad-o-Lin (1960?-1963?) I have only seen one style of US made Strad-o-Lin solid body and that is the above - which to my eye has a Jazzmaster sort of look to it, so I'm going to say they started them in 1960 and they didn't last very long as they seem quite rare. Most seem to have the same Fransch Pickups as the Marvels, but I have seen one with Teisco(?) gold foils and one with another Japanese looking pickup that I haven't identified. Most of them that I have seen with their original bridge have this vibrato style one. I can't imagine it worked particularly well. They continued to use the name into the import era on entirely Japanese built guitars.
